That is what I heard today.
Of course, the vast majority of students are not protesting. If they were all protesting, they might have had a better chance in changing politicians minds. Most never left home, school, or their flats.
Stupid things I hear people say
Every day I hear people say things, that I honestly cannot believe they said. Rather than let them go, I'm going to post them here. Maybe you will laugh, perhaps you will cry, and you may enjoy them as much as I do.

Do you believe in Climate Change
Someone asked me this the other day.
As if!
You cannot believe in Climate Change. Either it is happening, or it is not. It is a fact, or it is not. There is no belief involved in it what so ever.
Perhaps that is the problem.
Recently I heard that 98% of Climate Scientists thought that the evidence suggested the Climate is getting hotter world wide, and that 90% of Scientists overall thought the same. Most of the Scientists who claimed otherwise are either in the pay of companies that don't want us to think that climate change is true, or are members of religious groups that believe that climate change is against god's will.
If Climate change is happening, then it is a fact. If it is not, then would someone explain why the world is getting warmer overall?
And note, just because one section of the world is getting colder, that doesn't mean the whole world is.

I was on the bus on Monday, and one young man said
to his companions, "Did you know that Muslim women who wear the Burkha are forced to shave their heads, so they don't take it off?"
